Just as you will be in april/may time when you submit for detailed permission. Around the same time as we expect to be doing the very same.

| I think it’s imperative to sell the idea on the back of the job creation for the area.
Let’s be fair, we’d be happy if the ground was adjacent a nuclear waste processing site.
Just wondering how much cash the club are putting into the venture? By the time it’s built will there be any money left from the sale of B.V? Also, what will any financial input by the club get us other than cheaper rent?

I think we have no worry as most of ours was covered in the Outline planning permission, such as all the roads and I think, like yours, the commercial benefits the new stadium will bring would be massive. Would be stupid of the council to reject either IMHO. And also, with a general election around the corner approving both would look favourable.

Exactly. The ultimate vote winner: announce 2 new stadiums on the same day! would be perfect timing for an election in the late summer.

| All joking apart I would love Fev to become involved in this. Its a community stadium for the district after all.
Looking at the press release it looks like there have already been talks with Fev. Its also the best kept secret that Cas have also been invited to share.

| As if we care.... In all honesty i don't want to share with them... or cas. The feeling is mutual and thats cool. Let Fev get on with their plans just as Cas are. We'll see who's better off in due course..

I would imagine 'we' do care hence we keep asking, the more clubs involved, the more a community stadium/facility it is, the more funding we get....

| would be difficult for Fev to feel anything but out of place miles away from the village green and the thoughts of three teams sharing would be congested

It's not the be all and end all. We will still get the complex up without Cas or Fev won't we? That's dependant on the business park not the amount of sporting clubs that play there. And that's a no-brainer for the region.

| Cas wont be sharing because they have their own stadium which will be built on the same time frame/a couple of months ahead at most, Fev wont want to share because it's out of Fev, where 3/4's to all of their fans are based, and they have their own plans as well.
Also, Andy Wilson's column is just lazy, saying Wakey & Cas are fighting over one spot, which is a load of crap because Salford are behind both, Bradford are behind both on the pitch now, and Odsal is dump, Hull KR have a worse stadium then both teams. If any current SL team losses their place it's Salford.

I think it's more a case that if it serves more than one club, the likelihood of planning permission being given the green light increases.
