| the problem is he has already benn warned for abusing touch judge which wont help his case. fingers crossed.

I agree. I'm expecting he'll get 4 matches, possibly even more if we're really unlucky. Although I expect should he get 3+ then we would surely appeal.  |

Think the max for the category is 4.
One thing I hope that would mitigate in our favour is the fact that Kear is a respected coach who usually gets on with the authorities. For him to speak out, albeit in a measured manner, suggest he feels there is a decent case which behind closed doors I'm sure he could do a better job of persuading them of this. Equally I think he's more credability with them than coaches who tend to whine more often.

I would think that anything more than 1 game we would appeal.
Given the circumstances and the referee's lack of control in allowing the Celtic players to keep targetting him with nothing more than a warning to them, and then the actual nature of the decision that caused him to finally lose his rag I would hope that we could come up with some sort of defence.

| A player with the team I coach was also dismissed after being harrassed by the ref all game about his tackling technique. He had enough when he was about to get sinbinned for a high tackle, he turned round and shouted 'You're Edit directly at the ref, who promptly changed his yellow for a red. One match ban and a fine. (Was rather funny though!)
Hope the same punishment goes for the lesser offence with Brough.
Think it would only be an example increased amount of ban/fine if he appealled against the decision - they like to increase the amount then.
