| It'll go the end of the season to see how many points they need to stay up. One positive for me if Bradford get some or all points back is that Agar cannot rely on their failure anymore.

| I have to say Willzay you are quite creative how you manage to bring every single issue back to that point.
But let's not derail this one to an Agar discussion again. We have plenty of those already.

| On the Bradford issue, putting it off helps no one.
Better for Bradford to get it out of the way so they know what their target is.
There shouldn't be any more info to be added to the case. There is either extra info that warrented an appeal or there wasn't. They shouldn't be able to launch an appeal and then go looking for reasons why they could contest it.

It just smacks of a cop out. !
IF Wakefield manage a few more wins, it will be less controversial to give Bradford more of their points back.
Equally, IF Bradford themselves start winning games, it may not matter either way.
The real conundrum comes IF the gap between Bradford and Wakefield is less than 6 points and IF both teams are still in the relegation scrap (which most think they will), the brown stuff really will hit the fan.
Just for good measure, Salford could also get dragged into the fight and Dr K certainly wont keep his opinions to himself.
Another RFL fudge is to be expected and all parties will still cry foul

| Dont think theres anything fishy with it being put back personally...anything like this with barristers...solicitors etc...can always be put back and delayed....not doing anyone any favours though...Bradford more than anyone i'd say..
We just need to concentrate fully on improving and picking up wins...enough to put us in a position where the outcome will be irrelevant....which we are more than capable of...

| The whole issue is a farce. The basis of their appeal appears to be ridiculous and should on the face of it not merit an appeal being granted.
Instead we have a situation where we will be over half way through the season before we know the outcome. Only in RL could this be allowed to happen.
Also why do we need a barrister a solicitor etc to hear the appeal. The sanction was brought about under the powers of the governing body and should be presided over by the RFL and be a binding decision. As I understand it the points deduction is for going into admin. However they ended up there, the bulls went into admin and therefore they should have no grounds for contesting it. They had an option as other clubs have had to pay some creditors and get a lesser sanction but are not going down this route.

Do we know this???
Do we know how much has been paid back to creditors, if anything???
Or are we assuming Creditors have not been paid back?

I am basing my comments on the force majeure argument they are running with. If they were paying creditors back then surely that would be the basis of their appeal?

| Reading the letter from whitcut (allegedly) on the Bradford board. It makes some bad allegations against Blake solly.
If it turns out to be legit the whole Bradford saga could be the tip of the iceberg and will leave a very dark cloud over the RFL.

To me that reads like somebody trying to cover their own backside and heap blame on other people. The part about the failing of the fit and proper owners test sounds stupid, if i had been told 2nd hand information from a meeting that i hadn't attended that I had failed then I would seek clarification from the RFL rather than take somebody else's word for it.

| "Cutting costs would jeopardise our play off position"
That one statement sums up the problem , living beyond their means and not willing to accept responsibility for what needed to be done.
