Extremely happy with this signing. Youngish, British and a very good player to boot too. Him and Davey sharing the hooking roll is a great combination. Lee to loose forward unless we manage to keep hold of Howarth and if we keep Morro (which I hope we do) move him in to the second two alongside Mariano, one a ball player the other a barnstorming line breaker. If the reports about Tongia are true we can utilise him at full back where we'll have a real attacking threat joining the line, or, if Wildie (6) needs resting or hits a bit of a dip in form we can play him there. These permutations already have us looking like a more dangerous side than this season. A fit Hickey will be like a new signing, I'd love us to be able to keep hold of Amor however I think he'll make his mark at Leeds next season so I think we should be looking at bringing in one of the youngsters (is Trout a prop?) and hopefully beefing Gledhill up and giving him a shot too, these along with Johnson would be a good combo but possibly a bit too young so maybe bring in an experienced player such as Coley. Things definitely looking up. Lets support the boys for the rest of this season (including JK, he's given us some good times as well as bad but deserves a decent send off for me) and then lets look forward to next season.

Yes - he played for PNG in last years Four Nations; he's only 21 and got bags of potential.

I have high hopes - if he turns up looking like Mr Creosote however, I give up.

I'm impressed by this signing, if we surround Ellis with players of similar quality I think he and Davey will be awesome next year.

Yes you are right. Also they are usually right when the player has been poor. Its a pity some of the purported experts don't check this out. For instance a quick visit to the Salford message board last season would have stopped us signing Smith.
