Like it or not, we played a good tactical game to beat Wigan. And great as he is Fifita is not a tactical genius.

You have to feel for these individuals who've dug a hole so deep that they can't climb out or even put the head up and cleanly enjoy a result like last night.

You cannot deny the positive impact of bringing back Fifita and signing Gale both of which I am sure resulted from the sponsorship of the new board member. It could be argued that yes money did help because I doubt either of these would have happened especially when the club admitted they wanted to sign Gale at the start of the season but didn’t have the resources necessary to do so.

Salford have a reserve team (admittedly not a great one)
Salford have a PDRL team
Salford applied for an Elite Academy license and were refused by Super League (so not our fault)

we played fantastic, the commitment, enthusiasm and energy were there. I honestly thought we should of won by more but it made for an exciting climax. The club as been lifted the cash injection as helped and big daves enthusiasm and getting up these is now starting to bring the best out in players. If you think Ellis is going to plough money into this lot without having a say or any involvement your not wired up right. Do some research and find the truth

Right now he's effectively a big sponsor. Sponsors do have a little bit of influence but they do not sit behind the desk.

You are a bit out of the loop, of course he is already having an influence ,he has some good people around him giving him advice. He is not stupid enough to blindly hand over money and not influence how it is spent.

I’m loving reading all the posters that were previously saying the takeover wasn’t happening as MC & JM we’re holding the club to ransom, now they’re saying that we’ve turned a corner thanks to the new investor, absolute internet gold
