Giants were better than us it's as simple as that.
They were faster with ball in hand and we couldn't hold the ball when they stepped up.

As bad as wakey were in the first half they rallied well in the second and with a big more composure with ball in hand could have come away with the points . The sin binning cost us dearly and our edge defence was a shambles at times . Nice to see Pauli and Fifita getting stuck in which helped get back in the game somewhat, but was a bridge too far in end .

Not coming 5th will cost us some decent revenue as would have had home games against Hull Saints and Wigan.

As it stands will be Wire/cas, Giants and Catalans

As already said woody was a massive loss tonight especially when Pauli n dave were making inroads ,it was ripe for his scoots from dummy half .
All ifs and buts now ,dust ourselfs down and move on to the next game,and hopefully put a more zip in our step .

Thought Pauli was exceptional in the 2nd half but, Huddersfield, aided by Hicks were excellent in the first half.
They were creating and exploiting space on both edged exceptionally well.

The sin binning looked very harsh indeed and I would love to know what Ashurst said.

Great spirit shown in the second half but, the damage was all done by HT.

This result was always going to happen. The sheer relief of last Sunday was always going to mean that players would be slightly less focused, especially with a short turnaround. I don't see it as a big deal. Now, they've got two weeks to refocus and make a push for the highest possible placing.
