The council will be the ones ultimately responsible for that. MC had NO choice than to do what he did today. 14 years this has rumbled on for with lies and deception at every turn.
MC has brought the club back from the brink to a club challenging for a top four position in SL.
The rebranding, decent merchandise, coaching team, players on the field to be proud of and a community setup in the running for numerous awards.
Whatever happens MC can only be applauded for his efforts over the last few years and the councils efforts to smear him are shameful.
We need a public meeting so we can ALL be involved in fighting this battle. |

Is this Andrea Jenkins and is it worth us getting in touch with her to sort a date asap?
I fully appreciate the club and trust are in the midst of legalities but surely us fans need to contribute to this fight and we can use social media and political pressure. |

Not sure about all of it being "flimflam", the council have highlighted a specific claim from the club -
"that there is a 'legally binding obligation for the Council to provide a 99 year lease at a peppercorn yearly rental to the Wakefield and District Community Trust' as there is no reference, at all, in the Unilateral Undertaking to this."
Maybe only someone from the Trust could clarify as to whether this is a factual statement or not? |
