Playingwise Trinity are getting the raw end of the deal. However, if something has gone off off-field making Brough's position untenable then maybe it's for the best, although Cooke's character reference is hardly glowing.

I'd take Cooke on loan to bolster our squad but I cannot see any benefit of us letting DB go the other way unless of course he's been causing trouble in the camp. Not heard any rumours of him doing so but you never know!

Is that the same player that told you Brough had signed for Hudds and the contract was in there safe. Behave Kev you should know better than to post unfounded rumours, there is no prize if your right but plenty of grief if your wrong.

I believe that Danny Brough's wife wants to return to live in Hull to be close to her family. May be totally unrelated but if the rumours of him going to HKR are true then there may be some logic behind it.

Plausible reason but his contract is up at the end of the season and you would think such pressures would be resisted until then. Besides, Hull is only an hour/hour and half away.
