| I want a ground which charges away fans 20 quid to sit behind the sticks were they can't see any offsides or forward passes whilst Wakefield fans get to sit (down one side) or stand (down the other side) and help the ref a bit just like happens at
Saints
Huddersfield (but we used to sit al the side)
Leeds
Castleford (mostly)
HKR
Hull FC
Warrington
Wigan
Bradord
Salford
Not sure about
Harliquins
Celtic
But they make home advantage pay for their team.

Completely hypothetical - but you'd prefer no new stadium than to share?

Where have I said that?
Please point out where I said it as I am sure I said "I bloody hope not" and "I would not be too happy"

A stadium only used a minimum of 14 times a year or so could need other tenants to bring more money in, and keep the rent down from the primary tenant. What about a football or union team wanting to share the facility, would you "not be too happy about that" then?

Would not mind that, just Cas can't stand them
Maybe Wakey rugby union will make a comeback, they still have a license to play, there is always Wakefield FC too who could play there.

Wakefield RFC, I don't think, would ever make a comeback - they'd been at College Grove for almost a century and could only attract crowds in the 200-300 range. There wasn't the interest of money available for them to survive in the age of 'professional' union.
Wakefield FC - I doubt they'd want to share with us after last time, and I think College Grove is the perfect size for them to grow in.
Who else could share it - no idea! Certainly could be used for local rugby/football finals, and the rep. games we get at Belle Vue, all depends on rent charged by the SMC.

Never bother with union but know they still have a license, and not sure what crowds they got.
Do Leeds reserves still play at BV? or has that not bene going on for some time?

Think they play at York now, not too sure, but not been at BV for a while. It's a novelty thing, and once that wears off, who really wants to watch reserve team football?
We really are a one sport city, as good as QEGS may be at producing union talent, there really isn't the interest beyond that. Wakefield couldn't make the step beyond the 'amateur' set-up into the professional game because union was, in a sense, always more of a social game than a true contest to find out who is the best. They didn't have a league set up until the 1980s if my memory is correct!
Wakefield were one victim of that - the money, as always, rises to the top, and didn't filter down enough to keep a club that size afloat in the 'professional' ranks. A shame for those who followed them, but you won't find many who went to College Grove week in, week out.

| The stadium name has to be linked to us, because if we share with any of our rl neighbours then the next step from a Superleague perspective would be 'merger'. So I feel that the more we have that is identifiable with WT, then the better off we would be eg situated in Wakefield, Trinity linked stadium name, WT linked road names around it, tricolour(RWB) seating etc
However, perhaps all these things are hypothetical as we are only going to be tennants and not owners, so the decisions are not those of WTRLFC Ltd.
