Season officially over, fresh start and all that?'"

wonder if the promotion of London and the demise of Newcastle Thunder is giving Matt Ellis second thoughts. To me these two recent developments could have profound effects on the financial viability of our club. Firstly IMG will want to keep London in the top flight and I can see them being retained through fiddling with the grading even if they lose every game next season. Secondly league one looks unviable now and despite championship clubs voting against amalgamation I can see the RFL being forced in to two conferences which could see Trinity in a different conference to Featherstone and Bradford so missing out on our two biggest gates whilst having to welcome the like if Cornwall, Midlands Hurricanes and Toulouse to Belle Vue with less than a taxi full of supporters. I know people on here will say I am pessimistic but at the moment we cannot sell season tickets and don't know who we will be playing or even how many home games there will be.

The proposed conference structure was basically east and west.
West was
1. Barrow
2. Whitehaven
3. Workington
4. Widnes
5. Swinton
6. North Wales Crusaders
7. Rochdale
8. Oldham
9. Cornwll
10 (was london)

the east was
1.Batley
2.Bradford
3.Dewsbury
4.Doncaster
5.Halifax
6.Hunslet
7.Keighley
8.Midlands
9.(was Newcastle)
10.sheffield
11.York

The only issues seem to be Newcastle & Toulouse, would Newcastle come back in if this was to happen and will Toulouse give it another season. and Fev going in the East conference.

Small section in today’s RLExpress, JM says takeover still on track, His experience of thing’s like this takeover and the legal check’s makes it impossible to predict how long it will take, and no one from either side is is causing the delay. Confirming there has been a few delays with the new Stand, it’s on budget, and on course for a handover at the end of November.

Well hopefully it's this or next week, pre season is due to start in November and we have half a squad and no coach.

Frustrating as we're practically a month on from the note to say it will be done in a few days.

My take on it is the conclusion is imminent, just my thoughts but I imagine some areas of due diligence have taken longer due to external contracts such as the new stand etc.

Where are we now this is based on unconfirmed information some reports and assumptions.
Coach Powell
Assistant Shenton?
Physio Crowther
Strength and conditioning Ben Cooper?
Potential signings
Doyle Keighley
Jerry Huddersfield
Antoni re-sign?
Tanginoa re-sign?
Hood re-sign?
Kershaw re-sign?
Signed
Jowit
Kaye
Lino
Gale
Ashurst
Griffin
Pitts
Probably missed a few but rumours on exits
Eseh
Bowes
Lyn
Gone
Battle
Proctor

Probably more but you get the gist.
Once takeover confirmed I expect lots of announcements to get the club moving quickly in the right direction

Also, could there be some re negotiating being done, regarding loans and the re payment of them, especially for the one regarding the ground.

ME did state in his statement that he wants to make further improvements to the ground, which cost money. If so, does he intend to do these before the 2025 season.

With how quickly planning applications are going through the system at the moment, would be pushing it to get anything up and running before then.

2026 more likely, that is if anything is earmarked. West Stand really is an eyesore, and whilst it's not hindering us in an IMG sense, we need to do something about it re spectator comfort, attracting new supporters, increasing our fandom scores.
