| Quote: vastman "It’s only all out war in the eyes of two posters as far as I can see.
Whenever Wakefield do well so called RL sites and opposition fans suddenly zone in a player, this time it’s Lino.
When you think that since MC took over we haven’t lost a single star player who was under contract then it gets tedious.
Frankly some people will believe anything no matter how unlikely so long as it’s a negative.'"
Is this what you posted which clearly states that since MC took over we haven’t lost a single contracted star player. I have shown we have but apparently I have lost the argument because I should have known you were referring to a period when he was in control but after the club had offloaded several contracted players to reduce the wage bill. If you had said this then yes you would have been correct but you didn’t so you are wrong, which appears to be a position you find difficult to accept.
I think what you should do is just stop digging because you cannot be correct when the evidence is clear disproving your statement. This was an angle you tried when you said that MC had sacked both Agar and Webster which was also untrue but once again you came back saying that they jumped before they were pushed no they weren’t they resigned but you would not accept this.
If anybody looks to twist the facts to cover up their obvious failings it is you.

Correct.
It was also a dream move for Amor, don’t think it would have mattered who was in charge I seriously doubt anyone could have stopped him going.
Some fans need to accept that not every player leaving is the fault of the club, it’s a free country.

I'm afraid you are arguing with yourself now.
As a pedant myself I understand what you are saying and you are technically right, but we all know that wasn't the intention of the post.
So you are right if that helps you let this go, but unfortunately, the point Vastman was trying to make which he has clarified is also right.
There isn't really anything left to argue about.

No the question is what does it matter. This is a forum not a court of law. The general thrust of my argument was that since MC has been in charge we have ceased to be a selling club, so do you or do yo not agree that we no longer sell players to balance the books, yes or no?
Whether it that began in 2013 or 2015 is a petty irrelevance, or it would be for anyone who didn’t seemingly have a personal dislike for MC and let’s be honest you clearly don’t t like the man.
And please don’t use the MC and vastman kissing in a tree argument, I’ve met the man once and you know what, we never talked about player contracts, how odd

| We have definitely stopped been a selling club since mc took over yes in the early days he may of let 1or 2 go ie tim smith but we were in the poop when he first arrived financially and things needed to be done.but even then certain players still stayed ie danny kirmond he could of been sold more than once but he wasnt more recently im sure kelepi dave tommy could of all been sold but they havent.im sure in the future offers will come in for players and i am confident mc will do whats best for the club.
MC at times gets some stick from some fans and while i agree he can be too loyal at times he is very good at what he does amdif i where to win the euromillions id certainly trust him to run the club with the millionsi would put in( i certainly couldnt run it)

| I am not having a go at MC he did what he felt necessary I am just pointing out your error once again trying to make an incorrect statement. The reason you do this is irrelevant but for once try to admit based on your post the fact quoted was not correct.

| If you put Andrew glover leaves Wakefield into google it pretty much tells you he left and Michael was voted in really quick and then he called and emergency meeting inviting fans to understand what’s happened. I was there and he specifically told the fans we had to sell star players otherwise administrators would be calling.

| Who genuinely cares. I’m sick to death of coming on here to find every page derailed by constant c#ck measuring contests. Honestly I cringe reading it, men arguing abit owt and nowt.

I don't want to throw fuel on the fire but I think MC took over in August 2013..... debate. It can’t always be a love in but I’m surprised that after four wins people are still sniping at the club, or maybe I’m not surprised at all.

Sorry but you’re wrong on this one, it’s a fair if unpleasant and unnecessary
I genuinely thought the thread started about Lino’s kicking stats, nothing to do with when carter started as chairman etc. Fair do’s a Wigan fan came on saying they are after Lino. Anyways, I’m always wrong at home so nothing will change there!

| We did get a small fee for Ben. If anyone doesn’t like what they read swipe right and do something else. It’s a healthy debate. Am not stating that Michael is a selling chairman just that some of what people have posted is factually wrong. He’s done a decent job and is still learning a lot compared to other chairman that constantly throw money at clubs for little return.

It wasn't. It was about Lino's kicking stars.
