dont know where your source is but Sandow is a big money capture for the Eels... Maloney staying with Warriors but Souths are trying to get him... and Anasta has re-signed with the Roosters... and is publicly filthy with Carney and his mates for going against club rules.
very few decent players are now off contract this year.... and with salary cap rising significantly it will be harder to tempt top quality players acros to the UK. |

The current exchange rate can't help matters as well. A SL club now has to pay a lot more than they used to do to be competative with the NRL clubs. |

True, but you don't ship your family to the other side of the world simply becaue you think you can gain on the exchange rates. In 6 months time, things can look a whole lot different. Either you want a new challenge in a new country or you don't (in my experience). |

The offshore image rights loopholes been closed as well, not that we ever took advantage of it. |
