Halifax do not even have a scholarship team at 15's or 16's , that alone should prevent them from entry to SL.

This thread shows everything that is wrong with the game and with franchising. Promotion and relegation cannot be argued with and it doesn't make an ounce of difference how new your stadium is or how long it took to build.

And we do'nt get 1.2million pounds to squander like some SL teams.

while understanding frustrations and anger ,the halifax chairman is short sighted. Its not all about the ground, youth developement etc are paramount. The fact finances may dictate that halifax cant do this without super league money is again frustrating and i.m.o help should be available from RFL. Maybe it already is, i dont honestly know, but franchises good or bad are on many categories. All you ever hear is belle vue not being good enough, its tedious.

Sad thing about that statement is that Thrum Hall, even in the state it was in when we moved out was still a better ground than BV is at present.

If they hadnt convinced the Crusaders to withdraw their bid, do you honestly think that they would have been kicked out after the £700,000 investment from the RFL, no it would have been Wakefield dropping, nobody doubts that.

What sticks in the throat of the fax supporters is that we have done everything that was asked of us by the RFL and THEY have changed the rules to allow clubs who have been in administration to remain in the Superleague.

Please dont think that the frustration is aimed purely at Wakefield, NO it is aimed purely at the idiots who run the RFL (or a couple of them at least). Had they awarded Wakefield a licence and refused Crusaders a licence I think it would have been felt as more just, but this way they have escaped having to make a tough decision.

Although I suppose the only hope is that Lewis made pains to re-itterate that they reserve the right to withdraw the licence if promises are not met.. Yeh right!!!!!!!!

All we can do at Halifax is continue to be the best team outside the "closed shop that is superleague" and make it difficult for the RFL to refuse us the next time around, ah but they would change the rules to suit them then!!

So why was my 15year old ask to join Sheffield?and his mates are joining Fev scholarships?I also watched Sheffield and Fev scholarship earlier this season,or was I just dreaming like I think you are.
