There is a rather large site left on Albert Drive at Silkwood Park. If we have to find a new site that's where I'd go. It's ready leveled, the Park has a hotel and great access by car as well being already prepped by an access road already put down onto the site!

Not sure what the land classification is but it was considered when the park was being finished off and Thornes had just been nailed dead, so you never know.. maybe the only reason NM was chosen was that it was going to be paid for by York Court if they managed to get it through before the LDF??

Although this may not be big news - after the Hull kr the other week , whilst enjoying the refreshments after the game(!) , Mr. Elston approached me asking about my old adidas shirt I had on- had a chat , but he was more interested in the badge of the time - the simple fleur de lys . He said that they were looking into bringing this back as this should be the badge of the city's team & not the wildcats badge . Mr . Glover then came over a little later & basically said the same - they want everyone in this city to be proud of this ( our ) club & it's history . He then took advantage of my gullible state and then told me adidas were going to make next years kit , winked , & bogged off !

I'm sorry but the most important meeting in the clubs history better be more than changing the wildcats badge to the city's fleur de lys. Id be happy if that happened but not if it was announced solely at this meeting.

It's hard to imagine what it could be though. A new license and a new stadium would be the obvious, but how either of those could be revealed in just two weeks time I don't know.

Top marks to the club to get this level of interest, it's like a breath of fresh air. Just hope it lives up to the hype

What else could it be barring investment I can't think of anything that they could announce which would need such a fanfare?
