He hasn't been banned, but 3 incidents involving him for this match alone were flagged up to the panel. Yes 2 have been dismissed as penalty sufficient but could these be the "mitigating circumstances" the rfl bang on about making a ban longer than the one usually given? Bearing in mind he has already been formally warned about foul and abusive language this season. |

as ive said, minimum of 2 games...they could throw the book at him considering he has already been warned about his language before now |

Think the max for the category is 4.
One thing I hope that would mitigate in our favour is the fact that Kear is a respected coach who usually gets on with the authorities. For him to speak out, albeit in a measured manner, suggest he feels there is a decent case which behind closed doors I'm sure he could do a better job of persuading them of this. Equally I think he's more credability with them than coaches who tend to whine more often. |
