I didn't mean it wasn't the coach. Just meant it wasn't only the coach.
But are you saying our players are as good? Some maybe but overall not in my opinion. Leigh recruited well, in both players and coach.

It’s becoming clearer that Apelgarth probably isn’t ready just yet for the head coach role. Probably best thing would be to bring in a strong and experienced good coach for a few years for Apelgarth to learn under as assistant. |

I know I'm probably feeding the beast posting this but it is what it is.
Proctor played 35 minutes yesterday at prop.
Tackles 23 missed 2 - 92% success rate. Not bad but could be a lot better.
However. In 35 minutes he took 3 carries. And made 11 metres in total
And gave 2 penalties away.
He's not the only poor performer but as marquee signing he needs to be a lot better to earn any kind of respect from team mates.
He is just not up to it.

Apelgarth will never be good enough to be a S L coach .Never played the game at top lvl . He as no idea how fast S L is .He is just a coach that is good with a blackboard and a piece of chalk . |

He did play at the top level for a few years with us. I do think though he can be a SP standard coach but he spent his year as assistant learning under another inexperienced coach. Needs to do a few years under a strong coach. |

Thats shocking, the bloke is taking us for a ride.
As a side note his partner was plastering Perpignan pics & videos all over instagram. Do we know if all the WAGS went or was this game just another nice little stop on the Proctors european tour? |

So long as Proctor is with the team fulfilling his duties I can’t see an issue with this. Maybe they went for a meal after in Perpignan or perhaps she fancied a day out there herself. I don’t have an issue with it |
