If Ali comes, Hendo would certainly be gone.

In fact, I would suggest that Southern is the replacement for Hendo, given his apparent attributes.

The downside is Hendo will give you 60 mins a games unlike Ali who may manage 20, i understand the difference in quallity though.

It wouldn't be a replacement for Hendo though.

Southern is the ready made, hard-hitting, hard-tackling replacement for Hendo.

Beyond that, it's not a case of replacing players, as much as improving the overall quality of our squad. No an "either/or", it's "plus."

I just don't see any value or an improvement in signing Ali, other than from a press exposure point of view. Yes he's been a great player and could still turn the odd game but value wise, not for me.

Chances were going to be running with 8 imports next season, I know it doesn't bother most people but it disappoints me when as a sport we're trying to reduce overseas players.

At least Lauititi offers something none of the home grown players offer.
