I applaud everyone who answered the call and paid into this scheme. I have done so in the past but decided this time to give it a miss due to having concerns in many areas.
As far as I know Salford have done something similar and got a great response from their supporters. So did Bradford in the past, however that did not turn out too well.

However you never see Saints, Wigan, Leigh, Huddersfield, Hull, Leeds etc etc. having to do this type of thing. I am hoping that if Matt Ellis isn't refused ownership, then as Wakefield supporters we will never be asked to do this again. It will be so nice to have a board that allows us to rub shoulder to shoulder with the more wealthy well run clubs.

Yes correct, if you go on companies house they are named, brilliant effort by them, mostly £ 500 and £ 1000 purchases of member shares.

A lot of the members money went on a sink hole which allows us to use our own water for watering the ground without the cost. Will pay for itself.
