Every club has to sell players and if the offer is a good one then it must be tempting for the club especially with the tax bill that now needs paying. It's always going to be like this until we get to Newmarket or new investment comes in before. If we have to sell a couple and get a decent price we won't be the first or the last club to do it and it won't effect my decision to renew my season ticket for my club.

Cockayne I could well see at HKR. Amor is better than that and if he were to be sold I imagine one of the bigger teams coming in for him.

Not every club HAS to sell players, the better ones don't have to - they sell surplus players - a bit like Warrington offloading Bobby Goulding to us. If he had been like his dad they wouldn't have sold him.
It's only newspaper talk at the moment and hopefully it won't happen.
As for Newmarket - that will only be a success IF the team are a success. More than one team are playing in new stadiums in front of crowds of barely 1000.
Selling players may be necessary to balance the books but it is also a downward spiral to onfield performances.
A successful, well run club, should not have to sell players to survive. I honestly thought those days were over.

Ben I could live with but to let Amor go I wouldn't be happy with that at all. Amor is playing to a good standard almost every week and our pack in the main has been one of a few positives this past month.

If we can get a decent fee for a 30 year old winger then fair enough but selling Amor is a no-no, simple as.

I don't really think anyone is trying to ease the wage bill either. We haven't started selling players, just off loaded some fringe ones that are not seen as necessary next year.
The ones re-signed are certainly the high earners so doesn't give the impression we are having to change things.

I'd keep him, but equally if say Josh Charrnley decided he really liked the look of Wakefield and wanted to shop at Trinity Walk every day, I'd let BC go for him.

Hence the upgrade! Anything can happen to a player regarding injuries, offer him more and he may sign. Bird in the hand and all that. What is for certain is that if we don't offer an increase he won't sign a new extended contract!
