RebelRebel - I think some people will be but it changes everything and while it might not speed things up, it is quite large... even bigalf thinks so... and he is not easily swayed!

| It's a new concept to Wakefield. It's called "marketing".
(Noun: the action or business of promoting and selling products or services.)
Yesterday no-one was interested in tonight's meeting, but now some are losing sleep over it. 
A sense of excitement and anticipation has been created.
Apparently the same method can be used for sporting events to increase attendance.
Maybe we should invite fans from other clubs over more often to teach us how to do things.

I don't live within 300 miles of Stanley, never mind 3, mate, so much as I'd like to turn up to the meeting, thank you personally for all the effort you've put in on our behalf, and tell you to your face if I think it's rubbish, I'll have to stick to this way of doing things for now.
I sincerely hope it is a hugely significant development, but you have to remember that for Wakefield supporters it was barely 3 weeks ago that most of us thought/hoped we were on the verge of a bright new future for our club, only to see the ground almost literally pulled away from under us. Add the recent news about the club's debts to the list and you can see why it's hard to believe there'll be any significant developments in our favour. Like I said, I hope it is good news, 'cos God knows we could do with some.

I would like to echo what RR has just said IA, and say thanks for all that you have done. And likewise I am a long distance Wakey supporter, so will not be able to attend this evenings meeting, which means I am also incredibly grateful of you posting the good news from tonight's meeting, shortly afterwards.

I have a feeling that the council are considering building some form of depot on the site but this is just a rumour and it is probably wrong.
As for the prop forward, i reckon it will be the lad from Barrow (Young?) who by all accounts is a good championship player and deserves a shot at SL.
