He is not as involved as much financially in the Rabbitohs as he once was, so he might fancy a new adventure in his favourite sport, but I suppose the difference is that he can go to Bunnies games. Can't see him relocating to Ponty for six months of the year so he can nip down to his new toy. A smart way of flagging up to the world media a sports club looking for investment though.

The quicker he finds interested parties the better it will be for cas and his own diminishing bank account, because it appears there have been no takers.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, “Jepson hasn’t got anything like the wealth needed to buy cas outright and run it, his business has hardly any working capital, so couldn’t even borrow against it.”
He needs 4 or 5 similar investors to him or 1 major investors like Crowe, neither of which I think are probable.
