I hope so too but I can see him missing out.

Oh, come on that's a bit OTT. I agree we should be capable of a strong challenge but Hudds away is never an easy game regardless of the relative team strength.

I'm not against your optimism, but it has to be tempered with an acceptance that at the moment we are the lesser team over all, though not by as much as I'd expected this year.

Don't get the "no excuses" thing.

I agree it's a strong squad, assuming everyone is playing fit (we know Fifita isn't)

But that does mean we'll just win.

It's a hard game any time. We might play great, with no excuses but Giants might be better or they just get lucky.

I wonder sometimes whether people just watch the scores waiting to get a chance to moan.

Just support the team and see what they can do.

I don’t get the difference between other teams not expected to win because of their depleted squads but it shouldn’t make a difference when it’s us ! The number of weeks we’ve played top teams with key players missing !! Here’s hoping we do go and get a much needed win !

PT, we may win and equally we may not.
However, with pretty much our first choice 17 on the pitch and with Hudds having played an extra game, with a busted squad, we "should" be winning these games, end of.
Of course, we've won "harder" games and we've lost plenty of "easier games".
However, ultimately, Huddersfield are one of the clubs around us in the league and just what would it take for you to suggest that Trinity should be coming back with 2 points.

Of course the game has to be won but, if we cannot beat a side with 9? of their first choice 17

Short of another 6 of their players pulling out of the squad, this is as good a chance as we are ever likely to get.

Are there any excuses for not beating them ?

What i dont understand is if we had as many top players out as hudds and hudds had as many first team regulers as we do alot would be saying we cant be expected to win but because its in our favour we still shouldnt win but yet peeps who sy that sy cc is the right man for the job.i have alredy stated i am very confident we will win and if we lose there will be no excuses

Yes, they are a side in better form than us and could quite easily show up on the day to continue their winning run. As we have seen many times before across multiple sports, teams can look very good on paper yet perform so, so differently on the day.

As PT says, support the team and see what they can do.

Looking at the weather forecast it probably going to be a wet one and will probably end up whoever plays the conditions to best affect will come away with the points from this one ,here’s hoping it’s us .

Hoping we go well as always. Determined not to waste my pension until things show signs of commitment through the club. Never seen so much ineptitude for such a long period which has left me stunned that it will be rewarded.
Up the Trin.

The bottom line is that we all want the best for the club and team now and in the future. I don’t believe any supporter wants to see the club relegated because we’ve been there before and it’s not pleasant, the difference is how we believe this can be achieved.
