Viewing the incident again has done nothing but reaffirm my belief that Annakin's leg buckled as he attempted to sidestep Lockers. This leads to him dropping several inches which results in Lockers hitting the shoulder/neck region rather than wrapping around the chest as was his intention.

Nope, you're wrong. I've watched it to look specifically for that. He was fully in control of all of his movement when he was clattered. No leg-buckling. His legs buckled when he was knocked out with a cheap, lazy shot and his torso went back but his lower limbs stayed planted. That cherry tint to your lenses must have affected your vision.

Had a shot like that from any Wakefield player put Super Sam out of action for three to six months, they wouldn't have played for quite a while, and you know it. No because what you said isn't true. Any leg buckling happens after O'Loughlin makes contact, because Annakin suffers concussion as RESULT.

Just because O'Loughlin got a red card shouldn't come into deciding a verdict, just like injuries shouldn't come into it.

FWIW, no it's not the worst tackle or the worst thing to happen on a RL pitch, but it's a cowardly attack to the head, and considering the RFL bleat on about player welfare, I would've thought they would've been firm. A three match ban would've been fine - no more, no less. But a one match ban just takes the urine.
