I think out of all our "middle eight" signings, Smith could prove to be the most crucial. It certainly helps having a more experienced outside back who can play fullback rather than a makeshift one in Hall, Miller or Owen.

Seemed to be a little jaded prior to him leaving, but certainly appears to have a new appetite on his return to the club. hope we can hang on to him next season
