I felt sorry for Washbrook, he'd towed his guts out to get the dropout, only for Owen to fluff it - shoddy play.

Thought Washbrook was outstanding tonight. Got in their faces and never took a backward step.

I've been critical of Washbrook in the past, but I think that was more down to his coaches asking him to do something he wasn't able to do, no matter how willing he was. As a regular back row he has excelled so much so I'd be tempted to give him the captaincy, especially while Kirmond is struggling.

Are we going to ignore the 3 bombs Owen took well to stop them scoring and the effort he put in taking the ball up best effort for some time from them all Godinet made a big difference in attack the boys held in well compared to how the last few games have gone.

Owen had a good start tonight, the bombs he took were tough. It went down hill a long way after that for him though. Overall though he's been ok this season.

It's unfortunate that the knock on from the drop out, and the ball was swerving in the air a fair bit, pretty much removed all the momentum Trinity had at that time and enable Wigan to finish us off. Things like that stick in the mind more than routine catches that all professional players should be taking.
