Its a must win game. If we are to get into the top 8 then we must beat teams such as Salford at home but they will be fired up for the game as they're playing for their places.

Is Mariano and Raleigh going to be fit does anyone know? We need our best 17 out albeit I know Kirmond will be unavailable we need these two for some grunt up front alongside Poore, Amor, Wilkes and Lauitiiti.

You were right about Alibert though - he didn't give use a thing all afternoon.

Shouldn't have needed it mind - they were there for the taking.

Strangely enough the Salford fans near us thought they were badly done by.

When Alibert is in charge, everyone is hard done by - he's utterly incompetent.

I thought he was quite generous with our penalties at one point, we just failed to do anything with them!

I'm putting it down to the very cold and windy conditions and also think we under estimated them. We let them make 10m after most play the balls when defending, just standing there waiting! Then when attacking we often fell back into useless one pass rugby!!!

I might be in the minority, but I enjoyed the game. It wasn't high quality at all, but it was a contest with both teams scrapping hard and the outcome always uncertain. It had that nail biting aspect.

Right at the end, I can't help but think Cockayne should have backed himself and gone for the corner rather than kicking it to where there was no one, but I'm not bagging him. He had a good game.

At the end of the Day we played poor and missed our goal kicks, if we bagged our goals game over, it was Sykes off day end off..

Was stood in line with Sykes for the goal attempt from the cockayne try and the wind was blowing to the left yet he had the ball point to the left hand post. I wasn't nowhere near a first choice kicker, but was told to aim past the far post and allow the wind to take the ball the other way. The ball was sailing wide before it had got 5 meters from his boot.

I didnt realise there were any?? Not been funny but how many were there?

They filled the little tin stand where we were stood, sang throughout the game and good humoured banter, couldn't guess numbers though.
