Didn't want the guy but was happy to see him given a fair crack of the whip.
Come mid season I couldn't wait to see the back of him. How wrong was I....
Massive credit to him for taking the flak and putting his trust and faith in his ability to get the best out of what he had.
Respect to him and a huge pat on the back to all concerned for our end of season form, growth and development under him.
Roll on next season and all the very best to him.

Perhaps if you gave people a chance before judging them you could eat any pie you wanted

| He came from Hull with an unimpressive history and then got off to just the same sort of start here. The reaction was understandable, particularly because of the "give the job to my mate" angle. Now, at the end of his first season, munch, munch, chomp, chomp. Mmmmmm, tastes lovely!!!!

I'll take the brussel sprout coulis with my slice of the pie!
Well done Mr Agar, the team, Mr Glover, the fans and everyone involved. Season ticket paid for. Bring on 2013

He came from hull with a completely clean slate for me. In the games we were losing (London apart) we were playing some good stuff but just not getting it right for the full 80. Could see the potential and was prepared to be patient.

This
I totaly agree our timing was inconsistent leading to some of our players getting bagged I thought our defence has been good most of the year, the attack initialy was sparodic and had we been crisp earlier on we would have shocked the SL with our final position that could have been on the edge of the top 4 given the close games we lost and the close games we won.

Baring in mind all Hulls woes were down to Agar, why should James Webster be hailed for our success this season?

| I don't mind a slice of Pie, but i ain't having it yet.
There is more to being a good coach than winning 7 games, 2 by drops and 2 against crappish teams (hudds ) but i am gratefull for those wins and all the positivity that surrounds them.
I fully support Richard and all the rest down at BV but i'll wait and see whats happening with the youth structures and the whole back room set up at BV before i munch.
Although i have heard its vastly improved and i understand it takes time after being left in a poor state, so the Pie won't be long and it will be a large slice when it comes.

Not at all, people have been accused of jumping the gun with comments about Sir Richard and now they are jumping back down the barrell, seems like a fair few are easily swayed.

I agree to some extent - 7 swallows don't make a summer...but the improvement in defence was impressive. I can't agree with some who say we were doing ok earlier in season. We had a few flashes of inspiration in attack but were generally bereft in defence and looked like conceding every time we were near our own line. We looked shabby for me but fair play, something gelled in the end. I just hope the wave continues next season

Without doubt we all do, and fingers crossed we will become stronger.

I think we were playing pretty good at times earlier in the season, with flashes of some very good RL especially in attack. Obviously we lacked consistency in a few games but I thought that was to be expected and at times we did look like a team with 17 new players in it. I thought we had some good wins early on, against Catalans, Salford, Cas, Hull and what should have been a win against Warrington but we had trouble stringing those wins together but at the time there was no doubt in my mind that with time we had the makings of a decent team. We only really had about 3 or 4 games imo all season where we really didn't show up, which was the London, Cas and Wigan games.

| I'll still reserve judgement until the end of his second season, yes it's been a great end to the season and credit to everyone, been a good ride.
The Ellis/Wood thing worries me, I just don't see Wood being the type to take us to the next level (don't usually bag players) but Agar seems to rate him very highly, so to me this is a big call for him.
