On loan or dual registered, yes. Permanently, I hope not.

The post I original responded suggested that Moore has not been injured over the last few weeks, yet he references that in this official announcement from the club. Bit of positive spin so the two appear to depart on good terms or was the situation exaggerated by posters on here?

I'm not sure I understand the big drama or your hints at some kind of conspiracy.
It seems fairly clear that the coaching staff have worked with the player over the off-season and come to the decision that he's not in their plans; it's not in their interest to get shot of a player who would add value to the squad, so we have to trust that the decision was made for the right reasons.

Do you mean like me,
Quote: wwildcat48 "He's been told that he's not in Agars plans and has some work to do to rise up the pecking order and overtake Smith/Wildie/Wood & even Kaye. That makes him 4th or possibly 5th choice scrum half and with this in mind it's been suggested to him that he would be better looking for another club. That's not meant to disrespect him it's just a cold assessment of the situation and is meant to be as fair on him as it is on the club.

| Good Luck to the lad !
He looked pretty good during the brief time that we saw him play.
He can certainly kick a rugby ball.

| Surprised to hear GM's going. Not really seen him but most have mentioned maybe he lacks half a yards pace.

Agreed on that.
His time at Wakefield will have been a huge learning experience and he will have gone away knowing exactly what he needs to improve on to reach the standards required of a SL player. He's intelligent and ambitious enough to work hard on those aspects of his game so I wouldn't be surprised if, in time, we didn't see him back in SL.

"Wildcats Chief Executive, James Elston, was disappointed but understanding of Moore’s decision"
Read that comment and tell me what you think it means. Because I think it means Moore made his own choice not to stay and fight for his spot. That is his choice and I have no issue with it. However there is clearly no conspiracy, Agar also says the same or is he telling lies.
What you and a few others seem to think he should have been guaranteed a starting birth. Most knowledgeable fans don't think any player should get that honour let alone one who has only played 5 games. Moore also states he has suffered injury set back which have not helped him - is that Agars fault as well?
I wish him all the best but I don't see a SL player and doubt that he will come back to haunt us.
You're more of the snide piper imo.

| Shame as I saw potential. We all see different things and I could see a promising player in there. Others more qualified than me maybe can't and I don't have an issue with that, its a new era and we've got to trust the people who make these decisions. Quite surprised he's gone back to Batley as Kear seemed reluctant to play him last season. good luck Gareth you've still got time on your hands.

| he'll look great at that level with the time afforded to him to kick the ball well (as he does). hope he makes it, and if he does i hope it's back with us.
i'd say on balance though, agar has made the right call (again).

| That's two of our youngsters that have quit recently to get a job, it's a shame but I can understand why they do it. How much would a full time player be on at Wakey? When you consider how few playing years they have in them it's quite a scary proposition and they need a back up plan. I think i'm now older than anyone in our first team, I wouldn't like having to retrain at my age and start from the bottom.
Good luck in the future Gareth!
