Ok lets just pi55 supporters off then for no good reason, how many times do you think a person can listen to the same old promises, if you think that it is good customer relations to treat fans the way that those poor soles sat in there tonight then you my friend have the iq of a rat probably one which has expired.

The membership scheme is very important. We are the second worse club behind cru for this. We need 5000 members or there's no franchise simple as. The £2 a week puts u in a draw for £500 a week rolling over up to a max of £3000. All money raised goes in to signing developing and retaining youth. The future of our club. We have been in talks since march re buying the ground back and this is still ongoing, we are buying it back from BOI. New terracing and stands will be erected along with new hospitality facilities and refreshment areas. A refreshment outlet will never be more than 50yards away. Each stand will have it's own facilities. Planning permission is not needed for any of the works as the ground has had the stands in place previously. Capacity increased to 12k and the ground will be super league compliant. The burning issue is yes you've guessed it the membership scheme. Get signed up sign up family and friends. Why do you think Hudds did their £50 season ticket? Why did Bradford do their pledge scheme? They were low on members.

Overall, what has been announced tonight is good news for the club, and if it makes the difference between getting a franchise and not getting one, it is arguably one of the most important meetings in the clubs history. By the time the next round of franchises come around, we should be in Newmarket and as safe as all the other sacred cows.

So oversold? Probably, but only because we overhyped it in our heads. Hoodwinked? Not when viewed in the context of where it might take us, if it gets us the franchise.

They need to send the builders in now though.

Agree 100%, although I may be being a bit naiive here in believing that our financial input isn't what is important, it is all about reaching the 5,000 members, so if it's not too stupid a question, why does the club need our money ???
