Have to agree, this is where JK baffles me. It's a real coach thing, look at me I'm so clever I won't do the obvious. If JK would rather stick with his own lads fine but why bother signing Harvey on loan. Even if the logic is to put pressure on players like Hyde it's still flawed as it's unfair on him.

Play him, if he is ok see if we can loan him for the full season.

They often name players in the squad, and do not play them, its to make the numbers up. young Griff is in to take is place

That's what I was thinking, theres every chance he will get a run out at Bradford. Regarding last week, I watched him in the warm-up and he obviously needed a few more sessions with the team to learn our plays. He threw a few balls to the wrong man etc.
In hindsight maybe he could have done a better job that Smith, but don't think we can blame Kear for making that choice before the game, with Smith having trained with the team through pre-season.

Dean will be a big miss. But will be good to see how Griff as progressed at Hudd. Smih looked average at best last week just hope its down to fitness, bandage on his knee didnt look a good sign.

Griffin looked very average for Batley last year every time I saw him. In fact he wasn't even first pick half the time.
