WAKEFIELD TRINITY WILDCATS NEVER FINISHED BOTTOM OF SUPER LEAGUE NEVER RELEGATED NEVER INVOLVED IN FAKE MERGERS:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_28143.jpg

If we get above 5K for this will be a miracle. Bradford not the best supported club these days and Sky on a Friday with the current form doesn't bode well for a bumper crowd, ticket deal or not. I think we've got to reduce prices to say £16 advance or set up a good half season ticket offer. I think the club markets itself well but the ground and facilities can be offputting especially to travelling fans.

Agree with that, and with your suggestions about targeted marketing activity; schools, junior clubs etc. Only requires flyers to be handed out, which is a pretty low cost activity.

Also, after the recent Crusaders deal, whereby those of us with season tickets were required to provide the contact details of the people we were obtaining discount tickets for, the mailing list should have swelled a bit; that being the case, I hope there's loads of direct marketing going on for the Bulls game, by email and post.

Finally, someone have a word with the players; a shock win over Leeds this weekend should bring the crowds in for the Bulls game!

Quote: fabulous "There’s a great deal coming to town. No Bull!

One of the best deals in Super League is being made available to Wildcats fans for when the game against Bradford Bulls on Friday, May 14th.

For this game against the Bulls the Wildcats are offering a special deal for families that will save £20 on the normal game-day prices.

This family package is available for a bargain £40 and that will give us access to one of the Wildcats’ key clashes in Engage Super League XV.

The package is available for two adults and two children and it can be purchased from the Wildcats’ Superstore on Doncaster Road right up to 5pm on Thursday, May 13th.

The children will have to be Under 16 years of age and proof of age will be required when the booking is made.

Just think about it. Besides seeing all your Wildcat favourites there’s the opportunity to see Bulls stars like Matt Orford, Brett Kearney and Steve Menzies.

Added to that there’s the chance to take in the pre-match entertainment package; the Wildcats Dolls and Kittens will be performing, a wacky Mascot games and an appearance by Super League’s mascot of distinction, Daddy Cool.

So, don’t miss out on the best value in Super League. Make sure your family is keyed into the greatest family game of all!'"

great deal hope it fetches more in on the day,

but how showing loyalty to season ticket holders in allowing them free into the academy games, this will get them used to going to watch the young kids coming through the ranks

I like the idea of this Snowie

One thing I'd love to see (and there's probably a good reason why this doesn't happen) - but if we are going to be charged twenty quid on a Sunday, then I'd like it to be for an entire afternoon, put the Academy on at 1pm, the first team at 3:30 - and make sure that the bars are open - and that food is available. I love watching the Academy, and I don't object to paying the massive sum of three quid to watch the academy lads on a Saturday - but sometimes IT IS difficult to square away two visits to Belle Vue in one weekend.

One FULL afternoon would be fabulous, and I think would bring in more money to the club than holding academy games and first team games on different days.

Just a thought..... COME ON THE TRIN!!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Positive news?? Its an average deal and its ok.
If you consider that positive news you are easily pleased.

I have always been a positive supporter but lately Im rather peed off, having rather condescending
posts from yourself doesn't help.

If you are just looking for backslappers and happy punters on this board then its going
to slowly die a death.
It may be all great in your ivory tower but here on planet earth its not looking too good, and no one
'up above' seems bothered.

My passion (or lack of) at the moment is because I truly care about this club, and every defeat hurts.
Seeing crowds dwindle hurts, theres so much apathy from a lot of supporters at the moment thats its truly difficult to remain positive and upbeat.

But hey ho, we must just post happy and smiley posts and diss anything that isnt 100% positive.
Gonna be a quiet few weeks if thats the case .... icon_wave.gif

What we've got is a thread where some good ideas have been thrown around....I'd say that's a good thing.

Hasn't the Cineworld thing been discussed on here before - a bit of cross promotion between the two helps both and is cost-effective. Have a competition giving away a season ticket for Belle Vue and the cinema, that kind of thing?

And the current playing style is offputting for the home fans too!

I agree with the idea of the even cheaper tickets in advance, that will appeal to everyone, the club needs to focus on keeping the fringe fans going as well as offering deals to bring in the under 16's.

I welcome any initiative from the club to do that bit extra to try and swell the gates, so although it may not appear to be the best to some it's a start...

If I was anything to do with the marketing of games I'd be looking intensively at the fixtures we have left and seeing what we're up against and what we plan to do to sell the games over other things that we are in competition against..

Just 3 for starters are...

Hull (11.07) World Cup Final day. Football kicks off at 7.30, so maybe some kind of theme day and the opprtunity for fans to stop behind after the game and watch the football?

St.Helens (25.07) and Warrington (15.0icon_cool.gif both up against Sunday race meetings at Pontefract. The races start at 2.05 and 2.10 respectively so not sure if it would be at all possible to bring kick off forward and team up with racecourse to offer family deals? People may laugh it off, but I guarantee that if there's nice weather on those 2 dates Ponte racecourse will be packed to the rafters and Belle Vue won't be!

Just something to think about....

How about a lucky 7 promotion? Make the game all-ticket, the person who gets number 7,777 gets to play at scrum half?

Or we can just keep playing without a scrum-half and wait until next season, the winning ticket being 777.

Funnily enough, I’ve been pondering how viable a kind of lottery would be for all pre-purchased tickets and season tickets. Perhaps season tickets could be entered into a draw and the winning ticket number wins £10K per season. The draw could be held the first home match in April. The pre-purchased match day ticket wins £1K at each relevant match.

I know there is a lottery already and this could detract from those sales, but I bet it wouldn’t half ‘encourage’ supporters who are a little reluctant to shell out £18 for, at this particular moment, little entertainment value.

its great that people are praising the club for putting something out there about ticket deals. however they can never please everyone, if no ticket deal had been done then people would have something to say then when they do people still have stuff to say!

with regards to the community taking flyers out, i think that people dont realise how much they actually do they offered out a season ticket assemblies to all schools in wakefield that wanted it, sold enough tickets to cover diversity and evey other act wakefield have had, they put on pre match games and dance which they sell tickets for. this s all extra to their day to day job!
