If the "250" is correct it'll be a extra.
The RFL are very big on two points, stadiums and junior home grown development, tick those two boxes or be a Cru/Quins and thats all you need.

| Well without getting into a slanging match, if this time you were to drop out of SL would it be down to the club to fund an academy by themselves? Just a thought that's all. But regarding my other post, I guarantee this is what you will hear tonight. I will accept insults and all if wrong, but I promise you i won't be.

Time will tell, but ultimately none of what you listed would fall into the category of the most important meeting in the clubs history. Not to say it isn't welcome, but it hardly justify's the means the club has gone to communicate it in my opinion.

Thats what I thought too, hardly the most important announcement in the clubs history, if true..

I guess so, unless we were still to get some sky/parachute money, i know fev have had to raise £70k this year for theirs.
Not that we're going down you understand.

If as you say these are the box's to tick, what ctrlfc says sounds like quite good news.

£750k donation from the owner towards the new stadium.
To announce Mr Kear will be moving on next season to pastures new.
I believe there will be a mention regarding the stadium too, I heard YorkCourt will be releasing information so that you can proceed on that site.
You heard it first'"
If this is true, then 99.9% of fans will be severely disappointed.

If any of those things are true, the first would be good for the long term prospect of the club, and for the franchise, although unless we can become a contender for the silverware, we will feed other clubs more than ourselves. If that on its own would tick the franchise box, then Cas could probably just announce the same, as it doesn't sound like it is that hard to organise, and then what would the RFL do?
The second one doesn't thrill me too much, as we are told constantly that the funding is there.
I don't think the third item is really part of the meeting, and more of an aside, if true.
The Yorkcourt angle is the crucial one, and maybe this is where it links in with the previous mentions of Silkwood (stadium relocated there, using Yorkcourt funding, reducing the size of the development and taking it off the greenbelt part).
I suppose we'll know later.

Why so?
£750k donation from the owner towards the new stadium. Adds weight depending on any further development, may put us in front of cas??
To announce Mr Kear will be moving on next season to pastures new. Should please "millions" of our supporters]
I believe there will be a mention regarding the stadium too, I heard YorkCourt will be releasing information so that you can proceed on that site. Interesting what weight this brings to the NM/ground debate in our favour, if true
I think that the timing of this is crucial in giving us any advantage we can, sad but thats what franchising does.

| Disappointed with a £1m donation!!!!
Get real folks! If that is true then we can only be victims of our own pie-in-the-sky theories!
I can't remember the last time someone put £1m into the club!
