| Quote: vastman "Scouts and fans are two completely different things surely. A scout is a RL professional who knows his business, a fan is just a fan though some on here seem to consider themselves a bit more.
If you went on what fans on here spout, Blaymire has been anything between Platts the clowns understudy to the finest F/B ever to grace the British game. An opinion held by some almost simultaniously.
It's a myth to say stats lie, it's how people choose to use them that makes them true or false. I'm fairly sure JK knows the difference don't you.'"
I am absolutely certain JK wouldnt bother looking at the stats when he has watched every Wakefield player for every minute of every game. Do you think that he does not know whats happening without reverting to stats? Come on vasty - Coffee wake the smell up and - rearrange

You would be absolutely wrong, the coaching staff go through the stats with the players after every game. You are either very naive or know nothing about the first thing about sport. In any sport you would care to mention statistics are the bible of coaches, especailly top level professional sport where inches can mean the difference between winning and losing.

It would appear that I know a little more about english grammar than you.
Can I also point out that certainly in boxing statistics are not the bible of coaches. In defending myself on the charge of 'know nothing about the first thing about sport' I was an international amature boxer that then turned professional and was a paid sparring partner to five world champions - on no occasion did i ever see a coach refer to stats. Is that naive enough for you or do is still not know nothing about the first thing about the thingy thing called sport thing?

You've obviously taken one blow to the head too many BTW, (that stands for by the way, by the way) the last throw of the dice for anyone that has lost an argument is to point out grammar mistakes

| am i missing something here chaps??? it shouldnt be about one player better than an other we have a squad and to me every player will be taken out of firing line and given a game off to freshen up and in theory we should and imo have now players to rotate around without upsetting the applecart, for what its worth i think the young uns in bibb, pitts n murphy have done brill and if mr kear took them out of the firing line for a game or so it be no reflection on there game, they would come back fresh again and let someone else rest, its a long old season and teams like leeds and saints rotate n rest players regular, yes i know we not them we wakefield but i really think w got the players now and ones comming back too to let some of our players have a breather

| Why single out Kyle? There was a far more experienced player who made more errors/took the wrong option towards the end of the game.
Fatigue etc had a big part to play in the game, don't think owt I saw error wise, justifies anyone being dropped, rested (because of physical and mental fatigue) perhaps.

| I do hope the lads in the changing room are p!ssing them selves at this if they get to read it,
no doubt the best start we have had with a promising future as well and its the fans that are bickering among them selves and for what,
a young lad has a few knock ons and JK has expressed concern that we could of let bradford back into the game,
it was refreshing to see a more adventurous attempts when attacking and one try came when I was wanting them to go for two to consolidate the score in the second half, how wrong was I,
players are going to make more mistakes the more the press but just look at the way we are playing, 4th best at scoring and joint 5th best defense, now doesn't that speak volumes, anyway would anybody like to change position with warrington no I didn't think so

Don't forget though, if he's come from the NRL, he may take a while to settle in and not hit the heights until the grounds dry out.
But all in all, yeah if he's form the NRL he must be able to do a job in this league.
Ask Mark O'Neill.
