| Quote TrinityIHC="TrinityIHC"I think that's a bit Harsh on Williams, he's been the one guiding us around the park and directing traffic for large parts of the games tbh. He's not really a "take the line on" kind of guy but I'm happy enough with his passing and in field kicking.
Agree that Finn is a great option and does well covering 9 and 6 too, think all our pivots give us a nice blend of different options in terms of kicking, running, passing etc.'"
Agree it is harsh. Like you say his game isn't really about taking on the line and making breaks, like Miller does for example, who surprisingly has made 22 tackle Busts this season so far, which is 2nd only to Fifita. It's more about doing the basics well, with his accurate passing/kicking and generally guiding the team around the pitch well. Saying that I still think there's a bit more to come from him and he hasn't hit his absolute best form for us yet.

| I have no issue with Williams. It's purely my opinion that Finn can run a game better than either Miller or Williams or at least that's the case at present. That said I think Finn runs a game better than most in SL.
Williams only problem is that when he tries stuff he's just not getting the bounce and I think that's knocked his confidence a bit. Also he was perhaps like Miller a little over hyped by us all to start with. However I do see Williams as a good long term prospect if he stays another season.

| Quote Egg Banjo="Egg Banjo"I agree, Finn won us several games last year through his excellent kicking even though we were behind on the try count. Williams is the opposite and could easily cost us close games with his poor kicking. I actually think it's a confidence thing, not a lack of ability. I'd certainly have Finn kicking against Cas because we'll need every point we can muster against them'"
I think you're being a bit harsh on Williams, did he not win us the games against Saints and Salford with touchline conversions?! I'm sure we either scored the same amount of tries or less against those two. Yes he's dipped with the boot, but I doubt Finn will be on the field for 80 minutes in every game from now on in, so if Williams doesn't kick you are only really left with Arundel who's guaranteed to play the full 80.

| I have been a critic of Bil tupou's performances in the past, but i thought he had probably his best game yesterday. Took his try well ran hard and put Johnstone away nicely a few times too. Also thought Arundel in the other centre went well.

The way you have been playing ,that figure is shamefull.
Your playing well and deserve better than that.
The ground excuse cannot be an argument when your putting the performance in.
So what is it?

If we knew why I am sure we'd of tried to resolve. Hopefully we keep the consistent performances up and with the weather picking up new fans and old returning ones come down and watch us.
Widnes didn't bring many either but completely understandable being a Friday night game especially with the problems with the motorways that day.

| They looked more than was announced Widnes brought a couple of hundred if that but that's no excuse I was hoping for over 5k last night but there was only just over 3k for our match against Widnes last season so we've put a thou on. The stadium saga has had a massive negative effect on a lot of fans but keep on performing and get some decent stadium news and the crowds will look after themselves. Noticed a lot more of a buzz about the club around the city the last few weeks things are looking a lot better. In RL there's only Wigan Leeds and Hull FC that pull decent crowds anyway. Our average attendances will be higher this season than last.

It will take more than a flash in the pan to meaningfully increase our crowds.
