| Neil Tchamambe is out of contract at the end of this year so although he is on loan to Trinity he will not be retuning to Hull KR. Don't know too much about Noah Booth but Rovers obviously rate him to give a 4 year deal.
Tchamambe has been disappointing for Rovers. When you look at his physique you think he looks the part but he doesn't run with any conviction and you end up shouting at him to give it a bit more. He has never come close to making the first team and when Lee Kershaw was signed as a back up to wingers Tom Davies and Joe Burgess it was obvious the writing was on the wall for Tchamambe.
I'll be surprised if Neil Tchamambe makes the grade at Trinity or any other Super League club.

well you will be getting a young and up-coming fan on loan from Australia later this year when I visit Wakey in May... looking forward to seeing what's been done with the old place whilst I've been in exile... stay focussed with eyes on the prize

He does seem tentative on the clips I've seen, but he's 19 and has plenty of time to learn.

Perhaps it would be wiser to play to his strengths and create edge space and put in well placed attacking kicks given the chance.
I’ll reserve judgement but if our back room can’t find the quality or growth in him then I doubt many others will. I’m sure he will be giving his all and we have a DR with Batley and reserves to see how he goes.

| Quote Trojan Horse="Trojan Horse"Have to admit I really don’t like it either. A player can theoretically sign two contracts for two seperate clubs in one day. One for 2025 and one 2026 before even pulling on a training shirt. I’m really not fond. It promotes 3/4 year deals and 1/2 year deals come with risk.
I’m not sure what was wrong with the old system. It worked fine.'"
I think the problem with the old system was that clubs and more specifically AGENTS weren’t adhering to the rules and players were being tapped up anyway.. but I’m not sure this will work either… I think some clubs will be inclined to just pick of other clubs talent as they see fit..

| Booth's 19, already at his fourth club and there's currently 6/7 players ahead of him. I think some of the reaction has been a bit over the top for a player who has only played half a dozen games in the Championship.

| I would guess the club was made aware of his decision sometime ago hence their surprising move to send him out on a season long loan. I guess what changed was that KR wanted him early and proposed the swap deal. I don’t believe the club have a lot of faith in the replacement and we could possibly send him out on loan.
I wonder if he spoke to Hall regarding a similar move which if we are honest set his career back. I know that with regards Hall it was the decision of our Director of Rugby at the time to do the swap not the player because he was the one most wanted by KR. With regards Hall he had experienced playing at SL level Booth has not.
The progression appears to be from us to KR then on loan to Castleford.

I drafted a similar post yesterday, also thinking back, Booth was only offered a 1 year deal, when 3 and 4 year deals were being handed out.
Peters seems to have little patience with younger end players, so wish him all the best, and await his return in a couple of years
