If a club like Saints are finding it impossible to run a successful team without being subsidised by a wealthy owner, the future for clubs without an owner with deep pockets doesn't look promising !

Agreed. You can’t spend more than what comes in or this is what happens. You either have to subsidise us with deep pockets or cut your cloth accordingly.

You get points for profits and income so yes and no.
You don't get the points so yes but from the report they probably never had those points.

I’ve been thinking this for a few weeks but I’m going to put a prediction in.. Huddersfield to be out of SL 2025 or be 12th.

There are only 14 teams with a chance of getting in the 12.
6 of them are safe with grade A.
I think Hull will lose their A but still be close at a 14.9ish.
We'll be next in my opinion.
Unless Salford have really stuffed up their finances they should be ok.

Which leaves Huddersfield, Toulouse, Leigh, Cas and Bradford for 3 places.
Leigh will get a small boost from league position.
Cas think they've achieve a stadium points boost.

So as you say that last place is down to Toulouse, Bradford and Giants.

The difficult for Giants is that the quick fix points come from stadium and Performance bonus points, and maybe fandom. The others are all averages over 3 years so an improvement is only a small boost to your points.

So, relevant to us is that Toulouse could really do with the points from Grand Final win. We need to make sure they are ours.

Giants just look very vulnerable to me. Toulouse do need the GF points but I can’t see it mattering when we have gained well in excess of over 1 full point upwards for facilities, LED and possibly finance.

Giants are declining year on year by looks in crowds and finishing position. Doesn’t look great for them in next few years if a few you mention find some investment.

Leigh would increase their performance score by 0.2286 if they finish between 5th and 8th.
So they would lose only 0.03 when they lose the challenge cup bonus.

They were 11th over 3 years last time. But would be 9th with a 5th place finish. With a big gap below them.

Easy to say but still to be confirmed by those who actually matter. I may be wrong but I am sure they do not own their ground for example.
