| Announced as going to Warrington.
Clearly he just followed the wrong W on Insta.
Shame, he'd have been good for us.

| Josh Bowden (29) at 6ft 2 and 17 1/2 stone is still available, has got a few good years left in him with something to prove and probably won’t demand a big contract…. Just the type of player Trinity picked up in the past… eg Westerman.

| Quote vastman="vastman"Why? He was coming at one point I can guarantee you that.
Frankly, I have no idea as to his current plans but he's clearly not worth that now is he. If he stayed in the NRL he'd be lucky to get half that, probably less. Also, is that per year or the contract in total? Does make a difference.
We could probably pick him up for 80 -100 k P/A deal now which is nothing like the figure you quoted. It's not cheap but it's not beyond the bounds of possibility.
Let's be right here, if AF did join us it's not about the money so much as linking up with his twin at the twilight of their careers, that's our drawcard for Andre,w not the cash. I doubt he'd come to SL for any other reason, but then again stranger things have happened.'"
He was in a coma in August and had major life saving surgery so I don't think he's joining anybody any time soon.

I believe he’s 100% fit and recovered.
His surgery was life saving true but it wasn’t major in the medical sense. It was also an induced coma if I recall which is not the same.
People are put into induced comas for all kinds of reasons but I suspect in this case it was to allow his body to relax before surgery.
I’m not diminishing his injury but from what I understand it one of those if it goes right a 100% recovery one, which is great.
Can’t see any reason why he isn’t fit to play now. I’ll look through Google, see what’s been said.
All the same I don’t think the deal is a goer anymore.

Magoulias saying today Trinity were the other serious option for him after we came in with a strong bid.
Think he would have been a good signing for us, his style would suit the way we play.
He also said the major draw was working with Powell…he will soon regret that decision! He may get results but not many of his players enjoy working with him.

Yes it’s a shame isn’t it. Think he’d of been a good fit at 13 for us. It’ll be interesting to see who else pops up who’ll we’ll be interested in and if we were ever interested in Kane Evans.

I suppose the plus side there is we clearly have some cash to splash on a quota player. MC one hell of a poker player
I wonder whether his recent comments regarding costs of quota players were linked to this lad. Perhaps he asked for extras we wouldn't pay and Warrington would. The Powell bit certainly doesn't ring true, I seriously doubt his name is a drawcard to most Aussies.
