I am watching a Salford team with players in their right positions and seasoned players on the field , not young kids !

Too much losing the ball in possession it's frustrating every game

Does that alter the fact they are missing 10 first team players?

We got 2 kids on pitch stop making excuses we git more or less full strengtg pack hookers and westerman apart and when have hookers played all season..we have been shocking again

But have they replaced their missing players with similar … we’ve now got batch at centre .. Senior on one leg , Kay at fullback … when I saw the teams I expected a thrashing ! No comparison imo

6-12 up at least 3 sets on their line, nothing.
Salford are able to come 90 metres and score easy as pie.

Have to agree, the experienced players, and we had plenty on the field, just aren’t good enough. It also seems some of them need to wear contact lenses, to help see where they are passing, the crowd caught more ball tonight than our left edge

I maintain we should have won that. In fact fact we could have won it several times over, sadly we are quite simply crap. The kids actually did ok, it was the senior guys who were poor. Miller was the worst of the lot, utterly dire. And i’m afraid my patience is wearing thin with Lino. He flatters to deceive week after week.

Once again our attack was awful. I get the issues we have had with injuries, suspensions and covid. But Salford were missing plenty as well and our halves should have been dictating the outcome of that game. They were incapable yet again. I keep saying it but we need a change of tack.

Agree about the experienced players, our half backs were shocking -Creativity is not in their vocabulary.

Injuries/Covid are all part of parcel of the game, this is a squad game, not who has the best 17, both us and Salford had the same number of players out (around 10) so it was as much a weakened side for them as it was for us.

If you want to carry on making excuses then that's your choice, if your happy with that performance then great but I`m most certainly not, these "Kids" are in our first team squad. By the way did Batch start at centre? Or did we have a specialist centre, a young lad that's been playing out of his bloody skin at Donny? Didn`t Chester just randomly take him off half way through the second half to replace him with Batch?

Pauli Pauli showed our so called talisman player how a giant of a forward should run with the ball, and take four defenders with you. Terrible display once again. Ashurst made quite a few metres in attack, but gave them back again with his poor defending. I would imagine Ollie Greensmith learnt nothing of any value towards his career from this game.
