it puts us back in our place a little our aim should be top 8 (not top 4 just yet) with results on weekend we are only 4 points away from 9th! its going to be tight and we need to keep wining the games we have to (eg the bottom 4 who we have beat)

Listened on radio only - it seems that were penalizedout of game in the first 50 mins- not sure if it was a case of our discipline or a home team ref display which I am tipping - the so called BIG teams always seem to get the 50/50 calls.

watching the highlights our defense was shocking.......

Yes, big let down for me was shipping in 30 points and instantly doubling our points against for the season. A real wingers game regarding the try scoring. You've got to say that, as far as scoring goes, BJB jus gets on with it week in week out.

We lost the match where I thought we could win it - better pack in the middle. Wigan do what they do and you have to deal with it and not give them the chance to milk penalties.

Wasn't happy with officiating but will have a look at the disallowed efforts again. Must have been very marginal calls on the two forward passes.

What the hell is going on with players jumping to the floor to try and gain penalties, as the they've been shoved to ground.
It's becoming like bloody football.
I know this happens every week but, Wigan must have had a couple of full practice sessions on this, cheating *****

I was proud of the boys performance yesterday Wigan is a hard place for any side to go and win. I disagree with all the key board warriors claiming Trinity’s bubble has burst, we were competitive throughout the 80 and had the officiating been of a higher standard the result would have been closer. Wigan edged it for me as they seemed to be able to shift the ball to the winger much more quickly than we could. That said, they got key calls from the ref at crucial times which clearly influenced the game. Tony Clubb should have seen yellow at the minimum, a closed fist swinging arm to the head is bad enough, but to then drop on the player after is disgraceful play.

The main thing from this defeat is to learn from it and respond accordingly.
We didn't get a good hiding and seems from some of the comments that we could have won, although the general opinion seems to be that Wigan were the better team.
History now, onwards and upwards let's get behind the team for the Widnes game. 5 from 6 won't be too bad will it?

Bad day at the office, some mistakes made, but positives to take as well. The true test now is how we respond on Saturday. I Think we would all have taken 4 from 5 if we'd been asked at start of the season. So bring on Saturday and lets get back on the winning streak!

You do realise that there are only 5 games played so far don't you - how far clear of 9th would you expect us to be???

If we can do a job on Widnes, everything is good.
Not too many sides will go to Wigan and come away with the points.
Fortress Belle Vue with some victories on the road is plenty good enough.
