| Amor has signed two contracts and he can only rip one up.

| Southern said in the Newcastle Herald upon signing for Wakey."Its 3 years so I would have been silly to knock it back"."I was talking to the club (Newcastle Knights)about resigning here but when your future is solid for 3 years youve got to take it".
He certainly has to rip it up next season to make me eat humble pie thats if hes still at the club.

But his employer can also rip one up - if the player agrees to it!

But he can accept the Leeds contract and tear up the Wakefield one. He then is the "property" of Leeds who can then sell him to Hull for a fee if they choose and Kyle becomes a Hull player - simple.
Don't know if any of this is true but quite frankly don't give a monkeys. Kyle can play wherever he wants, if its us then great but if its Leeds or Hull I for one wont shed a tear. No player is bigger than Wakefield Trinity.
Life goes on and I have every confidence that if he goes he will be replaced by someone who will do a good job for us.

| If the above is to come to fruition (really hope it doesn't) and Kyle really wanted to go to hull. Then why doesn't he rip the Leeds contract up and Wakefield get some recompense from hull in the form of hard cash?
That money could go a decent ways to finding his replacement, and we would miss him more than Leeds have over past two years.
All that said I hope he stays at wakey.

| The simple fact is if we had not agreed to the original arrangement with Leeds there is no way we would have seen Kyle Amor at Wakefield this season. I would rather have benefited from him for another season than not at all, in which case can you blame the club for entering this agreement? For those that keep moaning about the club misleading the supporters, give it a rest! Like it or not, the player is the property of Leeds Rhinos, they were always favourites to hold his signature if he performed this year, which he has, and they can do with that signature whatever the hell they like. Wherever Kyle ends up it should be his choice and it's very clear we've done everything we can to keep him at Wakefield. At no point have the club mislead the fans. If anything we should be crediting them for giving us the benefit of his services this year.

Yep have no problems Amor moving on if he thinks that's best for him and his family, he was never our player anway and the club did well getting him here for the duration they did, with the chance he could stay for longer. If he stays all good, if he doesn't the club will hopefully find a good replacement and we'll move on.

| So with the fantastic run of 5 wins and up to 9th with 22 points, where would people like to strengthen? I'm in 2 minds about mathers, as lee smith would be great at FB. I'd go for another centre and put mellers on Foxys wing. Couple of props would be nice, think we will only bring one in though. Have a feeling that a few fringe players will be shown the door so we will have a smaller squad but with 2-3 quality additions.

A couple of big nasty, aggressive Props
But it depends on how 'well' other terms recruit. We currently have a good squad but you always need to be ready to improve the squad to make sure we are competitive.

| Would love to see a couple of props of the Shane Tronc and James Stosich mould. Would like to see a big tackling 13 as well, Washbrook's done alright, but personally I like a more direct running loose forward. A couple of weeks ago I would have said a stand off would be a nice addition but Paul Sykes has really stepped up. Be nice if Walshaw could break into the first 13 as well.

| It would be good if we could retain Paul Johnson and Moriano. These two have been putting in very good shifts the whole month long. Really hope they are both staying with the trin.
Also be great to see Sykes and Mathers here next year.
I was 50/50 on Mathers a month ago but he contributes well to the team. Gets involved in set plays, flawless nearly with the high ball. He has the odd defensive lapse but can also make a good tackle on opposition players. He is clearly enjoying it here.
The players at risk are the fringe players, Davey, Morton, Spiers, james.
Its a steady progression and just adding 2 quality players to what we have already is all thats needed. One preferably a prop.
Think Washbrook has been good at 13 for us and is exactly the type of 13 we need.

| 4foxsake - 5 posts in and you want to see a big tackling 13 guess you dont know that Washbrook tops the Super League stats tackle wise.A couple of weeks ago you would have said a stand off,Sykes has played at stand off for the last 12 games.
Can see 1 maybe 2 at the most players coming in

Washbrook is a big numbers tackler and always has been. As well as having great hands and runs a good line. For me he is the 13 we have been looking for for yonks. As for Walshaw he may be behind cowling and trout in the pecking order now and will have to show improvement to change this i think.
