Get some Scottish teams in SL to improve their National team, it’s the reason we have French teams in our leagues?

Big miss match but Scotland did themselves no favours with multiple errors between that 1st minute one and that 89th minute one.

This Scotland team are not the weakest ever to play in the World Cup but so far they’ve been well beaten by Italy and shown how to play by the Roos…

In the modern game teams who get on a roll can pull in big scores… we have been both victim and beneficiaries of that at trinity recently. That it happens is no reason to panic and pull up the drawbridge …

I think this expanded WC has been fantastic… and will inspire some in Scotland to take up the sport… and maybe even some administrators and people who will build leagues … already we are seeing the benefits In Places like Jamaica and Greece… blossoming leagues in Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and Kenya vying to fight for a place in next WC… they won’t grow the same if all that is in offer is an emerging nations competition… world cups/ commonwealth games/ Olympic Games… the world stage is what motivates interest and investment … and we can have the best sort in the world but without that we have no market and minimal growth.

Be brave .. the ‘22 versions of Scotland, Italy, Greece and Jamaica are the vanguard of the future.

You can not come on this forum with out finding out the score of matches you have just recorded Not on about fans talking about them that's what forums are for Just the big head-lines on every match ..Did laugh at the unbiased commentary when England scored a try of a blatant forward pass .The pundit said it can not be a forward pass as the ref as given a try .Got to agree finding the matches too one sided to watch .Got to admit loved watching the Australian team run in 80 points could not beleve the rugby they were playing in those conditions

Didn’t think it was one sided tbh.. There was a point where England were rattled and I haven’t seen that in years playing France.

The French looked committed and played well. I enjoyed the game.

Let’s be fair, even if Catalan were far more French than they are that’s one SL team - we have eleven. More to the point we had at least eight players on show who play NRL or did very recently. Big advantage to say the least.

I saw some real improvements in the French but another SL team for them is vital, and some players in the NRL would help.

The French can build on this WC if they get to the QF.

I do agree, though I think it would be a while yet for the West African nations, as there is so much instability there at the moment, I was over there a few months back with my maritime security business
