| So...
Two game we could have won.... lost!
Two games we could have lost.... won!
Glass half empty: bottom four nailed on... we were lucky ... should be winning games easily!
Glass half full: but unlucky not to have at least 6 points.. bit of steadiness and confidence we'll crack top eight easily!
This is a tight league now! There are no easy games anymore... oh wait... didn't we used to be the easy opposition??

| Thought in the first half, Hicks had his best game yet in a Trinity shirt!

| Well done Trinity! How close was that?! What used to be the nailed on wins Salford\Wakefield etc are now the ones too close to call. The easy wins are now at the places we would both previously have expected to get hammered.
Onwards and upwards for both teams.

| How we won that game I'll never know. No attacking structure , poor goal line defence, unnecessary Hail Mary passes and giving dumb penalties away late in the tackle count. We did everything we could to lose that game. Credit due to the players for winning while playing so badly. How Kear gets the blame from an earlier poster is beyond me. Oh and can the posters who keep digging at Reece eat a large slice of humble pie

| Got a bit lucky today.
Composure with ball in hand was awful and we looked very easy to defend against.
Very, very happy to get the win but, boy, do we need to improve our offence, especially against 12 !

| Wow what a game of rugby league, to come back from 10 points down shows some real character when Salford scored 3 tries on the bounce. Could have easily lost that game however to come back and win has made my Sunday!
Few points from the game - although we got the win we still lack creativity in the final third. The first 20-30 minutes was so frustrating not completing sets and forcing repeat sets.
Thought Salford looked dangerous going forward. Masila was a handful and how did he drop the ball over the line at the end?..
2 from 4 isn't too bad. 4 close games and to win 2 of those is about right. If we did that throughout the season we'd make the top 8 no doubt.
Roll on the Whinos!

| Definately was a get out of jail card there.
Dont think we were bad value for the 12-2 lead at half time.
Given the man advantage on two occasions and the posession we had in the first half we should have had another try on the board at least. Think HT came at wrong time for us.
Had we have scored first in second half then think we may have ran away with it. We didnt, we switched off, conceded a try and the momentum swung.
Wouldnt say Hicks had his best game for us, as I think there were a few strange decisions in the second half. One was a blatant trip on I think it was Grix about 20m from line.
Yes Reece Lyne will hopefully silence a few critics though he did miss a couple of tackles. TJ missed a couple too which both led to tries.
The spirit was typified prior to Lynes second try, with the kick chase into the corner.
All in all, will take the win but the 80 minute performance needs to be better.

I'm sure you will fill us in on who Salford had missing this season.

Probably something along the lines of we only won because Todd Carney isn't playing for them yet.

| We played poorly and beat a decent Salford side today. Wins like that are priceless, espeically at home.
Very proud.

| I thought we had the game well contained until we gave a couple of soft penalties away to give Salford a peg up. A poor kick to the corner resulting in us tackling someone in the air closely followed by an obstruction by Algood on the last tackle! The guys stuck to the task and got some ball in the Salford half and deservedly came away with the spoils. If Huby had got that ball down to give us 18-2 it would've been a much easier second half I'll bet.

| I was worried about Salford as I thought they'd be strong and they were.
We were better than them in go forward from the big guys but they defended us out with 12 men for 20 mins so they did as well as we did poorly.
I have to say we need to get the ball wider. Johnstone effectively played prop today.
We knock teams around in the middle but don't take advantage of the gain they make.
Silly mistakes too with MCB tackling in the air again and Allgood giving silly penalty away on last tackle that led to try.
But overall, the effort and spirit to drag that win back was excellent.
We did great but feel sorry for Salford.

Our last tackle options today were nothing short of e. That kick you mention was one of the most glaring examples. Should have just dribbled it into the in-goal area or just grubbered out. If you're 10 points up against a good side why not just find touch and make them work their way out. We didn't control the game very well second half so even more pleasing that we found a way to win.
