I just don't get it. AG explains that things are tough what with EF going under etc. He mentions the HMRC winding up order but concludes that if we all stick together we will come through.

Generally supporters are content and it seems take up the ST offer which may well save us BUT people still have to keep on digging up dirt and I suspect they are not fans of Wakefield Trinity.

We are a substantial sum down due to EF going bust - FACT. The Club is struggling to overcome this - FACT. Now is not the time to start stirring up the brown stuff - although I doubt that its a Wakefield fans hand on the spoon - but a time to support the Club.

AG owns the Club, he is responsible for its survival (or not), other than supporting him there is nothing else we can do to help the situation and certainly grabbing the spoon and giving a stir will only make things worse.

If you are Wakefield Trinity fans get behind the Club and ignore all the crap stirrers who only wish us harm.

Telling many people we were going into administration was bang out of order other fans got wind of this etc etc escalates. Very poor and surely you must realise this !!

It's never easy to decide, but FWIW, I think you guys made the right call. Whatever Bazzo wrote or meant to write, the way it came across was potentially very damaging to the club, and that's very unfair on those people who work there and whose livelihoods are connected with it.

People need to consider the repercussions of what they write. In this case, as AG has explained, the problems are down to cash flow, for the reasons he outlined. There was an offer to settle the winding up order, but the terms of payment were not accepted, so other ways of generating income to cover that in the meantime had to be looked at. When people suggest we [icould/will be [/igoing into admin as a result, that throws a completely different slant on things. We've already seen posters on here question whether they should buy discounted season tickets, and the knock-on effects of these sort of rumours are felt in other areas too. Potential sponsors may question whether they should bother dealing with the club, players may question whether their future is secure here, and so on and so forth. All on the back of a rumour which, lo and behold, turned out to be incorrect.

You say people need to decide what kind of a message board they have in the future. The question should be, what kind of a club do you want to have in the future? Do you want one at all? Because things like this, if they get out of hand, are the surest way of making this particular Mayan prophecy become reality.
