Stats dont tell the full story, but even then..... King makes more tackles per game with 20.88 per game and Korky has 18.8. King makes a shed load more positive offloads and a lot less penalties. Oh and less errors.
I'll let you have a point for Korky making more meters, 0.5 more meters per carry.

| i like how you use stats per game to back up your argument but break it down to per carry to minimise how far ahead korki is in terms of metres per game.
That was part of my argument to be honest, you can use and twist stats to prove a point but at teh end of the day, stats aside, king has been our best prop.

Which means Parker isn't coming or one of the Quota players is going. Jeffries was the subject of a contract offer from cronulla apparently so maybe it's him who would be the one to make way.

Eamon O'Carrol at Wigan would be a good shout as with Coley and Fielden signing new contracts, Mossop, Prescott and young Ben Davies all being ahead of him and the impending return of Hock early next year he will be surplus to Wigans requirements.'"
JK has the complete opposite idea. It is some on here who have the idea of Moore playing SR. JK thinks he's best as a prop.

| Could it be seven. A snippet in League Weekly today says that John Huxley the media bloke has been binned off as a cost saving measure.

| I thik this is good news because he has shown himself to be very poor defensivly and i dont think he has been the same player since his bad injuries. Maybe a change of scenery will do him good and i wish him all the best but i think it is a good move by JK and the club to let him go.
This news makes it look for definate that we have signed at least 1 winger, Penny looks like he is nailed on and i think he could be a very good signing. The other winger we have been linked with is Sherriffe and i hope this is not true because he is not good enough. Maybe only signing Penny will be enough because we have George, Morton and also Murphy can play on the wing. If the Parker rumours are true i think he can also play on the wing aswell.

Is he up to it health wise? Dont take it the wrong way but the way his body shape changed after his illness he needs to put a fair amount of bulk back on to have more chance of being effective in the front row I feel.
I thought that Chromes Desease was one of those things that doesnt get 'cured' only controlled, if so are we taking a risk on needing him to be 'bulky' when he appears more suited to the back row? Hopefully its not an issue and he will not be affected, but its out of his control as I understand things.

It's rlCrohn's Diseaserl btw and can be really nasty; hopefully RM's will be sufficiently well controlled as to enable him to continue to play top flight RL, if that's what he wants.
Hats off to him either way - I know someone who has the disease and is almost completely disabled by it, so to continue to train and be involved in the rigours of SL week in and week out is pretty impressive.

Thanks for the link. It wasn't a dig by the way - respect to the guy living and working with it. Lets hope it is managed enough for him to have an impact for us next year. It always gets tricky though when evaluating a player, similar to the Scully/diabetes situation. When you consider he was a diabetic playing pro RL he was in excellent shape, but compared to his pears he wasn't - if you see what I mean.

Nope - it didn't read at all like a dig; I agree with you - RL is probably the toughest sport in the world and players have to be supremely fit just to compete and avoid getting smashed to bits every week, let alone battling against a debilitating illness.

Wonder if Wakefield will recieve compensation for Blanch ? or are we glad to get rid ?, thats 7 now with no new signings announced yet !. Must say same old same old, lots of players departing and im sure lots of new faces arriving at BV, we will never be a top team when you have so many changes in personnel year in year out im afraid, you have no consitency within the squad, to change pivitol roles at any time is difficult just look how we struggled after Brough,Tronc and Newton left. No wonder there is no queue to get season tickets at BV with half the squad gone, HMRC wanting a chunk of cash and Ted and the board wanting out. The Club has been run as a family concern for too long and not a business, let's hope we can attract a backer who will take WTW to the next level or NL here we come...
