I will support trinity to the end this season win or lose but if we do get relegated it’s not the end.

We get Sunday rugby again. Get to see new places. I would be fine for a year but only if we were to be a big fish in a small pond and stay full time like Fev.

Winning most weeks would see many fans return too.

We would have to rely on youth and solid performers to stay full time though and no big money players.

Huge risk, especially as it is until the end of next year.

No doubting he's been a good player, but has recently taken a step back.

My nephew works in the media department at Keighley, and said despite the dropping down a league, has been disappointing. To me this is a concern.

Still a long way to go yet in the season, hopefully he can rally the team, and guide them around the pitch.

We have our Championship scrum half for next season, to replace the current incumbent. We cannot deny the average age of our first team must be one of or maybe the oldest in SL. With age comes injuries and lots of wrappings.

Well we certainly need to try something cos what we're doing now isn't anywhere close to working, whether he is the answer only time will tell.

Would he be my first/second/third choice? Nope.
Is it worth a punt? Absolutely.

What's the worst that can happen? We still don't win any games and still keep going 40 minutes after 40 minutes without scoring a point?

We have done away with mad Monday at the seasons end in favour of a Darby and Jones trip to Morecambe to avoid over stimulation of the squad.

Nothing to lose, i'd try him as captain for a few games.

From the day WJL left the club (no wins) … to the end of the following season in the lower league (where we finished in the lower half of the league)… was probably the worst performing team I have seen in the trinity kit…

We really struggled with injuries that year.
We used 48 players in total.

And we only win 7 all season. 5 of which was when Wally was here.
That next season was awful to watch.

To sign him for one season is embarrassing. To sign him for two?

Proves we need a DOR.

Sadly that's the predicament we find ourselves in. Gale, past it as he is and a massive gamble, is better than what we have. We can't be any worse than what we've served up so far so he has a very low bar to aim at. Still galls me we paid a transfer fee for him though. We do make some financially bad decisions for a club with limited spend, especially as he was off contract in the winter. Everything we do is a reactive.

I can’t think of a better option at this time . He’s got a rugby brain no doubt about that- let’s face it we been a bit short of that this season!
Nothing at all to lose I’ll support him and hope it pays off.
