That was last season. This season with more sizeable squad investment a score line like that will be unacceptable.
As for Widnes. Although we are better on paper It is a game we have to be cautious with and hopefully spoil the party. |

wont we be playing leeds before the season? isnt that what they normally do?
either way, it happens when it happens. castleford had to do it last year, its our turn this year if leeds get to the final again. its out of our control, just have to get on with it.

Mate it was one fan that said that and that fan comes with a bit of form when it comes to these types of things. Saying that we did beat you at our place last year, even with the shower we had playing for us last year.
This year I would hope with the improvements we have made to squad, we will be competing with the like of Hull KR as well as other sides like Bradford but we'll have to wait and see how all the new players gel together. |

I don't think anyone is saying kr will be a walkover but the playing fields have been more evened up with our stability and recruitment much improved on 2010.
