Good luck to him. Needs game time to develop at this level. Something trinity can’t offer him. In terms of the trinity squad it’s not a loss. I do however wish him well and success in his progression as he’s come through the ranks.

No, it's the same Pitts but fans confuse effort with ability. Can't fault his work rate but his best days are well behind him and it showed last year.

| I think it's a real shame Dagger left as a player like that would make us look stronger. A full back/stand off required. Another prop and someone who can play in second row/loose. I would like to see a lose forward who is a bit of a ball handler but these are hard to find.

Tristan Sailor has been floated about over here, he’d fit that mould.

Is he as quick as his Dad was?

when I see ex-players' names getting mentioned and it's not for what they did on the field, it's because they've got a 25-year-old son playing the game, crap it makes me feel old. Wendall's a little older than me, a bit of a downer this getting-old nonsense.

I'd have hoped we want more than that. Ideally we're a couple of props light and a fullback at least. Who have we got who can play prop? Bowden, Atoni, Uele, who else? Isaac Shaw? Edit: Forgot about Luke Bain who I assume we have signed to play there. Suppose we could get away with one prop.

This is how I see it.
Prop….
Atoni
Bowden
Uele
Bain
Shaw
Loose…..
Pitts
Cozza (most likely to share).
Second Row……
Ashurst
Griffin
Boothroyd
We absolutely need 1 more prop.
We absolutely need a second rower. One injury there and we could be stuffed having to shuffle Pitts back wide and someone would need to change with Cozza…
I would say a last signing would be a utility back who can play full back/centre maybe.
One injury in the centres and we are relying on Pratt, Law. While Pratt looks great I wouldn’t want to see both on the pitch together. Full back is light.
All that said, I am happy for the club to wait for players to be available who will enhance our starting 13/17. We need real quality to come in these positions.

Don't think we absolutely do need another prop imo.
Do absolutely think we need a few more middles/utility forwards.
It will be a war of attrition with the number of games in the Championship. On the plus side there will be a number of games where a lighter/mobile pack will probably be do.
Think the centres are well catered for tbh. Croft, Thornley and Griffin backed up by Pratt and Law is fine. Looking at both Pratt and Law, I wouldn't underestimate them. Pratt already has a fair few games under his belt, and I personally think Law had a fantastic debut, and looked at home in SL let alone the Championship.
This season will be won in the pack, this imho is more the case than in SL. If the pack dominates, then frankly it won't matter who's at the back, they will score tries, (I'm exaggerating but you get the idea).
Cover for FB would be nice.

Oh, I see, it's the fans who don't see it your way who are confused, thanks for clearing up the confusion.

| I judge him on effort but also on the number of TJ or Murphy would do a fantastic try, but when you followed it back, it was usually Pitts as the one who made the half break and Jowitt who got on the end of it to get the ball to the try scorer
