Hall looks like he’s really not liking it with us this year. Poaching brought him in and he obviously enjoyed it under him and got that chance and took it when it came up.
For me you can see he has no heart in it with applegarth and yes I believe he probably has had his eyes turned by players that have left.
Who could blame him, were a club with zero ambition. The more odd thing is why the hell would dagger want to come here. We are proper sh.t and sorry but Bad coaching, face fits again not actual ability. Stupid team choices. He may go on to be an England player (personally don’t see it but who knows) he may go on to be the best centre in the world but that doesn’t matter.

All that matters is we finish 11th in 2023.

We can plan for the future if we secure that.

I feel we have more chance of securing that with Dagger at the club than Hall due to the deficiencies we have in a key spine position.

Dagger had a year left on his contract. Hall was contracted to 2024 with us. So you'd think logic would suggest we'd be crazy to accept a straight swap.

Hull KR have been after Hall for a significant period of time and they like him alot.

Hull KR are weak in the centres and have injuries. So it's s position they desperately need to strengthen.

We might have multiple Centres at the club. But, 2 are in questionable form (lynne and Langi) and 1 is Gaskell.. The best we had at the club was Hall. The player with the most potential at the club was probably Hall. But it's OK. We've now got full back cover for a few months!
