Since it's quiet atm I don't see the problem about talking about one of our recent ex-players not having a team for this season, when he's such a quality winger. If you don't find the topic of any interest why post?

How's it 'exactly', someone just posted that Toronto has let him go and does anyone know where he's going. Personally, I didn't know he'd been released by them and I'd certainly be interested to know if and when he gets another club. Aren't we able to talk about ex-players on here or something?

by all means talk about him but I fair bet he wouldn't want to come back and play second fiddle again

I never thought he would come back here or we'd need him back tbh- maybe if we had money to throw around but that's it because he'd still be waiting for someone to get injured as you say.

I just thought he was a good player for us when he was given a chance when Tom was injured and I don't know what went on at Toronto but this guy is SL class and he seemed a decent bloke as well when he was with us, hopefully he gets himself a team.

Wire have Mamo on their books haven't they that could plug any gaps if they have to have a reshuffle. But they'll probably go with Patton now and leave Ratchford at FB. They must be up near the Cap anyway I'd have thought, but who knows.

Me neither I’ve never understood this idea of bestowing sainthood on former players. It’s all rose tinted as well when in reality MCB is one of a number of decent wingers we’ve had over the years.

As far as I’m concerned when they are wearing the RWB I support them completely - when they leave I wish them all the best then with the odd exception they are gone. MCB is not one of those exceptions.

For me MCB is a good winger but BJB and TJ are both better and Lyne, Tupou and Arundal are better centres than him.

YUp and you can only have so many as we have a limited budget. Also there has to be some room for youngsters to come through - young Kershaw doesn’t look a million miles off though I don’t think he has the pace of MCB.

I’m not - he’s good don’t get me wrong but RL is currently fit to bursting with good Wingers. Wigan alone have four or five who should be regulars.

MCB got fairly big money when there wernt so many, perhaps he just wants to much - just speculating.

Or maybe he wants to move back home?
