Probably going to contradict some of my earlier posts but maybe McDonnell at the moment just wants to play some rugby without the worries of where's my next contract coming from?
His last couple of seasons have been disrupted one way or another and a good Euro Champoinship could see him better for it and able to put himself in the shop window?

i feel sorry for the lad ..he aint had much luck the season just gone by..he showed some nice touches when he played for us and scored a couple of tries..i would have liked to have seen him stay with us for another 12 months..hope you get him i think he'd be a great signing for trinity...good luck for next season..untill then tattybye!

Danny Cowling left us and went to Halifax, didn't he go there and go part time,as he was doing a Uni course?
Maybe he's gone to Donny because he's still doing his course and possibly didn't want to go full time at Halifax? |
